Bohan is part of the municipality of Vresse-sur-Semois and is one of the villages located deep in the natural surroundings of the Semois Valley, close to the French border. The combination of river, forests and open meadows gives Bohan its typical character of the southern Belgian Ardennes.
The village centre is compact and pleasant to explore on foot. Place Henri de la Lindi forms the heart of Bohan, with several cafés and restaurants where you can stop for a drink or a meal.

The Grotte Notre-Dame de Lourdes, a small Lourdes grotto in the woodland on the edge of the village, is both a peaceful spot and a local sight. The Pierre à Marier (Marriage Stone) is a legendary local stone, while the Pont Cassé (Broken Bridge) and the Sautou stream are popular spots to discover and photograph along the walking trails.
